I am a professional triathlete, a commentator for Ironman, and I’ve been know to write every now and again. I am a lucky boy and am able to spend my life doing what I love, sharing that love with those that care to listen. My journey into this life is more similar to that of the “everyman” or age-grouper than most pros because I was overweight and not very athletic my whole life, peaking out at over 250 lbs. The upside of that journey? I have a good perspective on what it takes to become a great athlete from nothing. The downside? I would lose most 6 pack abs competitions against my fellow pros. Win some, lose some.

The last Ironman I did was Ironman Canada in 2010, so it seemed fitting to get the ball rolling where it … Continue reading “Ironman Canada, Back to Ironman Racing!”
