With the Sochi Olympics beginning February 7 we have local Tommy Ford on our radar. Tommy is a world class downhill skier—Super G, Slalom, and Downhill—speeding up to 90 MPH. Tommy has had an eventful year starting with a skiing accident in France ending in a fractured femur and a rod put in to stabilize the fracture. He rehabbed the injury with Rebound PT Rene Bates. Tommy is on the Olympic ski team but has decided not to race in Sochi so he could get the rod removed and has returned to working with Rene. Right now and in the immediate future Tommy is back in school at Dartmouth, skiing again in March on the east coast, and working towards the next Olympics.
